Who Am I?

Hello there,

Thanks for stopping at my blog. My name is Helen Butler, single mom of 3!

My job and profession

I have had a lot of jobs in my life. Well, maybe not a LOT, but I have definitely had a lot of variety in what I have done. From a summer internship writing a newsletter at a theme park to working as a bartender at an upscale restaurant in a big city, I have done it all. Nothing has compared to what I do now, which is the hardest job I have ever had in my life–I am a stay at home mommy.

Parenting is fun and frustrating!

With three kids all under the age of 10, most of my day is spent picking up toys and scrubbing toilets–literally. During my years working out in the real world, I could remember hearing stay at home parents talk about how hard their jobs were, and I always thought, “yeah, right! You probably get to watch TV and hang out with your kids all day and maybe throw in a load of laundry once in a while.” Boy, was I mistaken. I seriously am the first one up every morning and the last one to bed every night, and I can’t remember the last time I took a shower by myself. Seriously. 🙂

It is a lot harder than I ever imagined, and it takes a lot of sacrifice for the whole family, but for us it is worth it. While we may not get to go out to dinner as often as many other families–even if out to dinner means McDonald’s, we make it work. And while I may not get to shower by myself for another few years, it has all been so worth the time and energy I have put into raising my kids.

There is a lot to be said for the career woman who not only raises her kids, but brings home a paycheck as well. It takes a lot of time, energy, and devotion to be able to balance both. I am not able to focus my energies quite that well, so I have chosen to raise my children as my full-time job. It is so much hard work, and a lot of sacrifice, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

How do I earn money?

I’m a affiliate marketer and Internetpreneur!

I recommend nice products to nice people like you and get paid for doing that. Besides that I do freelance writing for few websites. I wasn’t born as a gifted writer. But once I started writing the way I like, I realized that one don’t need to be world class copy writer to convince people… it’s all about trust and relationship you build with people.

Revealing more about myself is not nice nor wise either!
